Re: [RC] Thank you for the heater questions - kathy . mayeda

Lately I've been camping with Parelli buddies and having the horses in pipe corrals instead of hanging on the trailer at endurance ride camps.  It's amazing how much better I'm sleeping in the back of the truck not having to listen to banging on the buckets for more water and hearing constant crunching and tussling with the hay.    Not that I minded - it was kind of a comforting feeling having a happy horse eating and drinking so well.

Took Drako to the Spook Clinic at Ed Levin Park.  He did really well at the clinic, but bucked up a little slope going home.... sigh....

One problem with the generators is that they muffle the sounds of the critters getting into mischief after the humans have retired.  We sleep in the back of our truck with a camper shell (and down comforters).  While Doug is snoozing away, I generally lie there listening, listening.  Horses do tattle on each other, and I want to be able to hear it and take quick action.
