What was neat about this video, was that I was able to send it to my family for them to take a look at the sport I do. Granted, the runners are not usually there, but the endurance horses showed what it is like. My family has only been able to guess what endurance riding is about. The video showed some of what it takes to do this sport....

 

I'm looking forward to getting back at it, now that my surgeries are behind me...  :)

I have done marathons, triathalons and long distance bike events for years. A 50 mile trail ultra marathan distance run is close to plain nuts in its challenge and would leave me staggering to even think about doing. I know how to get ready and do an ironman triathlon but would really not know how to get ready for the 50 mile trail ultra. When you consider the fact that some of the people in video hardly look like the classic body types for ultra endurance they are really amazing.

   My hat is off for everyone involved. They are truly inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
