[RC] Making sure horses drink enough in winter - Kristi Schaaf

Kristi, What size is the container that you buy the
molasses in? What does it cost? I might try this too.

Kathy -
I buy my blackstrap molasses from the local organic
food cooperative (they have to order it). A five
gallon bucket cost me approx $45 (??) last time I
ordered, if I remember right. It's been so long ago
that I could be remembering wrong (trust me, 5 gallons
lasts forever!). We then just transfer molasses from
the 5 gallon bucket into a one gallon water jug and
add a bit of water to thin it to make pouring it into
the drinking water daily much easier.

Kristi

Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off)
