Re: [RC] Disney Movies - Linda Marins

I second this recommendation.  The author was a long-time AHSA judge,
part of the upper-class New York City horse gentry set like Bill Steinkraus
and Michael Korda.  If you've never seen the movie, the book is about
the silliness that surrounds horse shows--the gobs of $$ going to
buy push-button horses for spoiled rich kids, the parents going off
the deep end like Little League, &etc.  He was a judge with his
eyes wide open!

And as great as the movie "Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit" was, the BOOK was even better!  Its not in print anymore, but if you can find a copy the official title is "The Year of the Horse" by Eric Hatch.  FUNNY funny funny is this book.. I loved it!!
