I disagree with you here. When we were packing
into the mountains in the early 1960s, we borrowed a pair of burros from one of
our employees. Cloud was a gelding, but John Henry was a jack. He
was a beautiful jack, of some size, and well behaved. One wouldn't
have known his gender by his behavior. They were easy to handle, even by
our girls, ages 9 and 6.
