[RC] Starting older horses - peanut2@xxxxxxx

Over the years, I have been given 2 horses that were 4 yrs. old and only
halter broke. And one that was 5 and only halter broke at best. (That one
was a bit spoiled also) All 3 were mares and the easiest horses I've ever
trained to ride. From bringing them home to trail riding them was only a
matter of a few weeks. And they all turned out to be nice, solid dependable
mounts. So much better then the babies I have brought and waited for years
to grow up and get trained. Oh, those ones turned out just fine also, it's
just the years of waiting for them to grow and feeding and routine vet
bills I didn't miss.
