RE: [RC] [RC] ride feedback/info - Ranelle Rubin

Kathie,

Remember to figure in the cost of transporting "legally" into NV and back home..Coggins and Health Certificate..about $100. for both..and if you are pulling blood for Coggins, it takes 7-10 days to get results back.

I have not done either ride, so I can't say.

Hi all, hope everybody is well. I should be out riding instead of being on the computer but my husbands car got towed away friday and now I'm carless..:((( oh well.

Anyway, since I still have my truck on the weekends though I've been tossing around thoughts of doing a ride in October if funds are there. Plus my mares had shoeing issues this year too, but she's barefoot and her feet are back to normal thank goodness and she's still very fit. So we are good to go. Might as well do something at least at the end of the season. Might be nice...

So, my choices are the Comstock Ride in Nevada OR the Lake Sonoma ride towards the end of the month.

Since I'm a ditz at making up my mind I'd love to solicite some advice from anyone that has done either of those rides in the past or had any knowledge/and or experience with or about them.

So, any info would be really appreciated. Then, I maybe could make a decision!!! :)

thanks,
cheers,
kathie
