I do not believe any separation is necessary, nor in the best interest of our sport. We have developed a set of rules and procedures that work very well at accommodating the disparate interests of our riders, while providing a remarkable degree of safety for our horses. I doubt that separating "rides" from "races" would accomplish much that is useful, while it would divide us and make it more difficult for ride managers to hold economically viable rides.
