[RC] splint & bell boots vs. sport boots - Tx Trigger

Unless you have put plenty of miles with a leg boot, I'd not try it at a
ride. They do hold in some heat, and do collect dirt. If the horse starts
tripping when tired, I'd reanalyze your conditioning, and see if the horse
is ready for a 50. Maybe more conditioning will have the horse less tired,
less prone to trip. My guess is you are getting excited about your first 50,
and have started to fret over things <grin>   Go with what you have been
using....
