[RC] Santa Fe Horse Race ? - Roger RittenhouseNo one talking about this. I am getting daily up dates about the rider from TN - Susan Thompson. She took 2 horses.Her sister is one of the crew. Other crew is husband John and friend from the area Debbie. So far it has been a real mess. Not looking good. Plans change every day, no shoer at all. Only 4 vets. ( dont know who they are) LOTS of greenies that dont know squat. Thought they had to do at least ONE 50 miler??? RACE -- I DO mean RACE --that is the overall mindset.. except for Susan and a few other real endurance riders. It starts today. Will be interesting when 'they' get pulled early on and loose all that $$$. I cannot find a list all the entries. Looks like about 80?? Will not be able to supply updates since I am going to BSF to mark trails on Tues. This should be something to watch. Just hope no horses get really hurt.( dead).
