Thanks for clearing that up. Now I can get on with my day! I didn't realise there was an Open Div as well. Being from Europe I had a hard time understanding how some of these countries could take part. I just wish the UK were higher placed.

yes, France would be EuChamp Team Gold and the first team would be the Open Team Gold - but they all have to finish a team and with as many bunched up in the front it could be a challenge to get completion (i.e. it sounds like a real race for 27km)

maybe - but there is an Open division as well as the FEI European Championship. The UAE (and the USA too) are there for the Open division.
