[RC] EC - now it's hot! - Steph Teeter

91.4 (33c) - no breeze and very very humid. Jan and Heather came in off of 3rd loop, said it was the hardest so far. Took the horses longer to come down. Cheryl and Al Capone are still looking very good, running 16th now, 12 minutes off leading pace.

UAE is still running strong. Sh Ahmed is moving up gradually, team standings at stake.

Spain is going strong too. Juame and Maria came in together, both horses looked good.

Just talked with Peter Toft and Meg Wade a bit - they're pretty much shut down in Australia due to the EIA outbreak. Not many riders are going to be able to travel to west coast for Tom Quilty. Peter is thinking of keeping some horses in Europe for training, but logistics of keeping another training center going are challenging.

it's HOT out there! the pace is still fast, but they're going to have to slow down ... ?
