[RC] Nutrition - Don Huston

A question for you nutrition experts.
I have an article that suggests that a 450kg (1000lb) endurance horse needs 150-165 MJ/day of digestible energy to maintain good condition while training for and riding 80km (50mi) endurance rides.
I have a hay analysis that suggests alfalfa has 620 kcal/lb of energy.
My question is how do I convert kcal to MJ?
