I broke off 5 of my vertabrae tips in the middle of my back two weeks ago last Sunday by landing on a big rock in a stupid fall that was completely my fault . The Drs. told me to let pain be my guide but obviously they don't know endurance riders :-) I have been riding my 4 wheeler which you "kinda" have to mount like a horse with just alittle catch in the back when I throw my leg over . I can handle alittle pain while riding but I guess what I am getting at is I don't want to do something and have residual pain for the rest of my life just because I want to get back riding a few weeks earlier than I should . Of course it doesn't help that two of my closest rides are this month either :-( Drs. that don't ride just don't have a clue about this type of thing .
