Actually, the thought of winter is quite pleasant...I just can't quite conjure up the full image, however, since it's currently an even 100 degrees here, with a heat index of 102 (guess that's one benefit of the high pressue, the humidity is way down - only 29%...).  "Only" about 6-7 weeks before we might get our first cool front of the fall, which will give us a day or two of temps in the 70s before going back up into the 90s...but that first cool front is cause for major celebration.  It *usually* happens the 3rd or 4th week in September...not always, though.
