RE: [RC] [RC] Tevis Trail - Ranelle Rubin

Dick..there is Pucker Point..which I personally don't see all the fuss about.., and the part that gets me personally though is one section between Deadwood and Kaput Springs. Several horses have gone off there, and rattlesnakes nest there frequently..even had one rider describe one dropping out of the ferns into the water while her horse was drinking...!

The CA loop most horses are in the dark, yes..

It seems to me that by

the time you get to the most hazardous part of the trail that it's dark (unless
your top 20) and your so tired that you don't care anymore.
