I sure hope someone can help me out here. I gave our family’s
25 yr old POA to 10 yr old nieces up in Janesville (just
outside Susanville) about 1 ½ yrs ago. She has been getting great care except
for her hooves. My sister-in-law has not been able to find a farrier with the
expertise to trim Misty properly. I checked on her today and her hooves look
like the platform shoes that were so popular many years ago, and I know she was
just trimmed about 3 weeks ago. Does anyone know of a farrier in that area that
can properly manage an old POA? She’s no problem handling, just a little
stiff. Misty would be much happier if she could get regular good trimming.
