As a rescuer of horses in the US - I see this type of blatant cruelty and
abuse regularly. That does not make it okay - here or anywhere else where
there is adequate knowledge about the welfare of animals. If WE, the user
of these magnificent animals, refuse to defend them because someone thinks
"profits" outweigh "welfare" then we are ALSO a part of the problem.
I salute Tom and thank him for his concern.......too many turn a blind eye
and deaf ear to the plight of those who cannot speak for or defend
themselves. It is wholly unacceptable.
