[RC] 5 buckles in a row for Hasumi san - Steph Teeter

So many people to congratulate - Hal Hall and Barbara White for yet another completion - 25? 26? Jeremy Reynolds for his audacious challenge for the win, John Crandell III on another Haggins Cup and a great performance (we'll see John and Heraldic in Idaho next month for the National Championship!). My good friend Kevin Myers on his first Tevis, riding Clydea Hastie's horse Czar. Clydea and Zeb were pulled at Forest Hill - Clydea's first Tevis was in 1969! I suspect she'll be back. And our two Idaho riders - first time Tevis attempts - and completions (almost turtles) Nance Worman and Chris Yost.

And the intrepid Seichii Hasumi - who at age 59 was inspired to try this 'Tevis' competition thing, which meant he had to learn how to ride a horse, which meant ... on and on ... and at age 65 he just earned his 5th Tevis buckle! Amazing... (and with Hiromi Kitaike's completion that makes 2 for 2 for Japan in 2007)

And I saw a few other foreign riders - Philipe Tomas from France, Esty Sanger from Switzerland - congratulations to all!

Steph
