[RC] TOTALLY OT- Lost Dog/Grass Valley UPDATE - RavenHi Guys...just wanted to update you on this dog, she has been FOUND! THANKS!* * PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST * * * A few minutes ago I received a telephone call from Howard Rathbun (Nitro's Dad). FABULOUS NEWS! NITRO HAS BEEN FOUND! While I do not have all the details at this writing, Howard wanted me to send a message to let everyone know that Nitro was taken to a veterinarian this afternoon. She was scanned for the presence of a microchip. Howard and his wife are driving to Grass Valley to get Nitro!! (Grass Valley is a few hours drive away.) Thanks to Nitro's HOME AGAIN microchip, she will soon be reunited with her family!! The outpouring of support from so many people has been wonderful. A "special thanks" to Kim White for getting Nitro logged in so quickly in the immediate shelters, for contacting other shelters throughout the area, and for getting in touch with Channel 31. There are so many people that I would like to thank that have sent emails of prayers and support and helpful suggestions on how to find Nitro. We had advertisements all over Craigslist, photos that I was sending to various shelters and rescue people, and other individuals that were making calls, visiting shelters, and checking with area veterinarians.
