Is it me, or has the U.S. been totally shut out of the
decision making process at the world level?  Its like
its no longer our sport. We invented it, we brought it
to the world and led the way in world competition, and
then it was taken in a direction that we never
sanctioned, and turned into something very different
that we can no longer excel at.  Its no longer
technical, and pretty soon it will be run on giant
tracks, at shorter and shorter distances, with fewer
vet checks, and fewer people allowed to finish, and
shorter and shorter careers for the horses.
