[RC] Re Shocktamer and Luwex Hoof Pads - Roger RittenhouseA while back some riders were asking about the subject padsMy supplier for the LUWEX hoof pads is not able to obtain any. The time of delivery is unknown. Most all the USA suppliers are out of stock. The mfgr owner does not really care about supporting the USA business. I have some stock of FULL YELLOW and GREEN/YELLOW RIM. I do not expect any in the near future. Therefore: The next best alternative is the SHOCKTAMER Pads. I used these for about 10 years when they were in the US. They are great. They can be left un-packed or pack with VETTEC hoof pack. You can get VETTEC Hoof pack products from Jeffers Vet Supply for a great price. I will now stock the SHOCKTAMER Hoof Pads. I plan in stocking ONLY the full flat pads. You can also order from DELTA HORSE SHOE SUPPLY ( farriers) or direct from this company in TX http://www.well-shod.com/index.php?category%5B0%5D=Hoof+Pads I am also going to test ride the HORSE TRAX pad. I am not sure they will work, but I have to test them. They might work. See the above link.
