[RC] Joint supplements - Nikki McCormack

Hi all,

I have a horse who will be 14 this year. I hope to compete with him this year and for a while to come. I am curious if people would consider joint supplements a good idea at his age? If so, brands have people had good results with? If not, at what age would you start it (and again what brands have you had good results with)? He has long years of trail use at varying speeds and has not shown any signs of trouble with the new conditioning routine (which got abandoned last year due to my health issues). However, I would like to keep him that way while we try ourselves out in the endurance world and would welcome the thoughts of those more experienced in this sport.

Please respond to neyska @ hotmail . com.

Thanks,
Nikki (and Cody, who also hopes to remain healthy and mobile for years to come)
