[RC] Fit to Continue - Jay Randle

Hi Bruce

I agree with you. "Fit to continue" means "fit to continue the ride". It doesn't mean "fit to continue to the trailer" or "fit to continue home".

"Fit to continue" means that the horse has recovered well, and is handling the ride to this point, and is not lame, and is not metabolically compromised in any way, and is fit to go back out on trail and continue... and could do another 20 or 25 miles!!!

Even at the end of every ride here in Australia, the horse must be deemed "Fit to continue the ride" AND present to the Vet check at 30 minutes, AND pass the Vet check, before it is considered to have successfully completed the ride.

Best regards

Jay Randle
