[RC] rubbing stirrup leathers - Tx Trigger

stirrup leathers after about 25 miles...<<<

That is usually an easy fix. If an english saddle, many you can run the
leathers under the flap, but some riders have trouble with the leathers then
getting caught a bit on the girth buckle. Next, is to try fleece covers for
the leathers. And my other favorite is to have a full fleece cover, and have
the stirrup leathers between the saddle and cover, so it is the cover
against the leg. You usually have to have a slot cut in the bottom of the
cover, for the leathers to hang our from it, and some have trouble with the
opening ripping from their legs swinging too far back, but I have not had
that trouble. 1/2 chaps. I am one who does not usually ride without them.
But no reason to get pinched by those leathers. Lots of ways to fix that!
