[RC] girth galls - nelsonsrepair

Hope this post makes it to Ridecamp - I'm subscibed but to post only. Anyway, I went thru 4-5 girths before I bought a crupper and the girth galls stopped. If you don't want to use a crupper you may have luck with Len Brown's Corrector kepping a treed saddle back where it belongs. With a treeless or flex panel you will have to go with a crupper. I also use a mohair girth but anything will rub if the saddle rides forward. I have NO hills where I am and this was still an issue. Please do no reply to this email, I can't recieve email at work (but I do lurk on Ridecamp).
Shelly
