[RC] Putting Assisi to bed and another day (7) of Al Andalus - John TeeterAlice Proust has uploaded her view of the Assisi race. I think that experiment in how2finish and endurance race may be put to bed (for now:)http;//www.endurance.net/international/Italy/2007Assisi/ (scroll down a bit to the gallery images for Alice's) Alice and Merri have gone separate ways from Assisi and will meet up again in Florac France on Thursday! I think the Italy stay was taxing on them (Alice's car was fiddled with and the Italian police wanted it as evidence (or something like that) - and MacMerri lost her power cord! so she's learning to type on a european keyboard - quite amusing at time. We'll see what comes together by Thursday:) AND - Lynne Glazer's report from the 7th day of the Al Andalus trek is online at: http://www.endurance.net/international/Spain/2007AlAndalus/ While Assisi had it's unique twists, so does Al Andalus - it's not really endurance (as the longest day is just within the normal definition). It's more of a 10 day point2point with mileages kind of laid out as best fits the terrain, the time, and the right hotels/ cuisine along the way! An interesting format - not unlike the upcoming Santa Fe but possibly more accommodating? Anyway, enjoy! jt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
