I remember a friend had a big QH stallion she was
hauling in a 2 horse trailer many years ago. He pulled back, and his tie broke,
the butt bar broke, and the DOOR broke open, and he landed on his feet on a Los
Angeles freeway. He started running down the freeway, and was coming to a merge
where the merging traffic would have most likely hit him. A trucker came beside
him and edged the horse over to the shoulder, and off the freeway, where the
horse was corralled and stopped. He loaded right back in the trailer, and only
had some skinned hocks.
