[RC] Helmets and head shape - Kristi Schaaf

Karen wrote:
A slight warning for folks who might dash out and
order the Tipperary online....I may be in
the minority of folks who hated the helmet.....I tried
every size on at convention one year
and it just did not fit the shape of my head, very
uncomfortable.....In the past I have had good luck
with Troxel (which original poster found hot)..and my
current favorite, the Aegis USSEPA or something like
that....helmet....it has a fit-dial in back; and I
find it very comfortable and light...also can be found
online on sale for $39 on a regular basis....

Karen and I have what are called 'long oval' heads
and like her, I'm comfortable in an Aegis USSEPA. The
Tipperary fit me horribly; it's round shape put huge
amounts of pressure on my forehead.

Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off)
