[RC] Discussion on Rude Riders - rides2farI've been reading the discussion re: rude riders and what AERC and Ride Managers can and should do about them with great interest, as are the members of the Ride Managers' Committee, as finding a system for addressing this issue has been on our agenda. It would require so much *effort* to *legally prove* someone was guilty, even if a huge group was in agreement that the person was a problem...one person's word against another, threats of lawsuits disputing the facts etc. Could AERC just come up with a National Policy that's sort of like "Survivor" or "American Idol" where we vote someone off the island..or competition every so often and they have to go away...no steward, no extra rules, just "Excuse me, the rest of us had a vote and you are no longer one of us, goodbye.
