[RC] Needing" Parelli, or anyone else - Tx Trigger

What works for one person, may not work for the next. Kristi has had great success with her relationship with her horses by using Parelli. She has even used the phrase that it saved her life. I think that is wonderful she found what SHE needed. But that may not be what I need. We all have our own levels of seeking information and education with our horses.  Is it wrong that I hate to watch videos or read books on horse training and education? Is it wrong I fall asleep at most clinics? lol That is just not the way I am wired to learn. Yet, the next person may thrive on those things, and constantly seek more and more information in that manner. I'm "one with my horse" on a different level that say, Kristi. But I'm happy, and I think the horses are happy. Everyone must decide for themselves what THEY want out of their horses and that relationship. While some of the hard core clinic types who follow one particular method (does not matter who) might think all other horse owners are wrong, and would I am sure gasp at some methods that other people use, even if they are in no way causing harm to the horse. Shoot, I've learned after a life time of horses how treats can get a few things done with my horse, where another person would NEVER consider using such technique.

Only you can judge if you "need" any method..... and really, who cares what the next person thinks....as long as you are not using methods deemed cruel to the animals. (but then, some say a bit is cruel, shoes are cruel, and even chemical fly sprays are cruel. lol )
