Well mine is an Arab - what can I say. On the other hand I'd rather him
keep right on cantering right over them than slam on the brakes -
dumping me on top of them.
 
The rattler was pretty dramatic. I thought it was a log. I looked down
as we went over it to see a long set of rattles. He hammered it with a
hind foot and the snake was flailing and flopping as we rode off.
 
The cotton mouth was trying his best to get the hell out of Dodge.
