RE: [RC] Sued for speed - Katrina Mosshammer

Around her we have killer squirrels. Last month we were out riding at a good little trot and a I saw a squirrel off to the side. The darn thing sat there until we got right beside it and then pops and runs right between my mare's legs and then ran down the trail  beside for a little bit cussing at us the whole way. My mare did a little hop to the side at first and then gave a look like " WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!!", but she never actually quit trotting.
 
Another endurance rider told me about a time when she was riding with a friend during an endurance ride and a squirrel popped in a tree beside them and then followed them through a couple trees, again cussing and fussing at them, and then dove off the tree over the one horse's neck and then ran between the other horse's legs!
 
I'm telling you we have a squirrel mafia around here! LOL
