Oh, I love to read replies to this kind of question. What is rocky to one
rider, is not an issue to another.  I never pad my horse, even for Tevis.
Others would never consider doing it without pads.   And hills...compared to
what? hehe  We all have such different views.  Seeing where the ride is, I
bet it will be one BEAUTIFUL ride.  Wish I were closer!
