[RC] OD boots/shoes - Jeanne DeVico

I agree with Jody's advice -- forget the boots and find a good farrier --- but, geez, Louise, the rest of your post sounded awfully scary! Yeah, there are lots of rocks, but the OD is totally do-able and totally AWESOME, even the rocky parts. I live in southern NJ; there isn't a rock or a hill within 50 miles of my house, and I was 4th on the OD last year and won the OD Triple Crown. So go for it and have a blast!
