[RC] Picky horses and no t.v??? - Sharlene Roberts-Caudle

Well, I'll insert my 2 cents--growing up we had 2 t.v.
stations and someone had to go outside and turn the
antenae around to change the channel. When a 3rd
channel came to our area it featured the "movie of the
week"--the same movie for a week, in black and white
(in 1976!)

When t.v. was available when I had young children I
chose not to have an antenae and they were not allowed
to touch the television, it was a grown-up machine.

For the past 9 years we've lived where there is no
reception t.v. or radio. I have satelite radio, and
NetFlix. We do 3 at a time winter and 3 for the month
in the summer. Otherwise, we stay up too late because
we're outside with the horses and chickens until dark.

T.V. is a time sucker. If cigaretts are delivery
devices for nicotine, then t.v. is a delivery device
for commercials! Turn off the t.v. and Ride!
Sharlene
