So are you also saying that the proposed 30 minutes to pass criteria would start at 4:55 instead of 4:45? Therefore in this case the horses would have 40 minutes after sprinting to the "finish" to pass the check rather than 30? Or are you simply refering to placement, and the actual arrival in camp (however long it really took) would start the 30 minute clock?

Nope, maybe I didn't explain it well enough.? Ride management
figures that it takes on average 10 minutes to get from the finish
line?to camp at a walk.? So you cross the line in first place
at 4:45, and the timer puts down 4:55 as your time.? The rider
behind you crosses the line at 4:47, so the timer puts down 4:57 on her
card.? So if she passes you on the walk back to camp, nothing has
Handy, but is that legal? So, you could be 1st
with a time of 5:00 and I
could be 2nd with a time of 4:50 if I walk
back to camp
