Re: [RC] those of you competeing in hoof boots, do you vet wrap the hoof? - Patty P

The problem I have when working out with the boots and gaters is gravel getting in irritating the frog or other sensitive area each step of the way. (I know how I feel when a little stone gets in my sneaker..OUCH) So what I am now doing is wrapping both the pastern and foot...and under the wrap is a soft cushioned pad. So not only does he not have to worry about any rubbing of the bulbs or pastern, but he doesn't have to worry about ANY gravel bothering him, no worries about stone bruises, and has top of the line shock absorbers for the entire ride!  ....Equine Turbo Sneakers!
