Re: [RC] Safest at the Trot??? - Jessica Spoone-Raines

*raises her hand* ME ME ME! To this day I feel much more secure at a trot than a canter. Its much easier for me to pick up the rhythm and keep a secure seat. It used to puzzle people that I would fall off at a canter and never get off balance when my horse would dodge sideways at a trot. But then I've always been an odd person.

Is there ANYBODY out there who, when learning to ride, thought "yep, the trot is the easiest for me to get in rhythm with?" I have taught a lot of people to ride, and not a one of them has ever said that.
