RE: [RC] The AERC web page - Kristen A Fisher

If you are not sure and want to check your PC, click on "Start" in lower
left corner and go to "Control Panel". Click on :Display" then the
"Settings" tab, and in the lower left it will tell you your current screen
resolution.

I am 1024x768.

Subject: [RC] The AERC web page

When we went to the present AERC home page format in 2003, we
set it up to display on an 800 x 600 resolution screen
without horizontal scrolling. We felt that a lot of members
would still be using older monitors.

Today - it's 2007 and most of the notebooks are 1280 x something.
LCD monitors are at least 1024 x 768.

We waste a lot of space at the edges of our page by
continuing with the old 800 x 600 format. We could use that
area for additional information or at the least - less
vertical scrolling.

I'd like to find out how many members are still using the old
800 x 600 format and would have a problem if our home page went to
1024 x 768.
