  So sorry to hear your lost a friend over  a simple mistake! No matter how 
careful we all are, I'm sure we all  have posted things, we regreted!  I 
know I try to be really careful not to argue or 'Flame , but One time 
(recently) I got real upset for someone misinterperting and saying 'things' 
about someone I respected and who has helped lots of people. After sending a 
private post defending  the person--- I realised I was  "on the attack" -- 
too late--- it's hard to stop if you all go beyond 2 emails- so I realised 
it was flaming, and  when the 3rd email came  I deleted without reading, and 
wished to high heaven I 'd not got on my  white horse with my Avenging Angel 
costume!---Cause beyond the first one, it was counterproductive.....
    It can be hard , when you don't have any heart to heart  horse lovers 
to talk too. And add to that , a bad day at work, aches and pains, 
menopausal symptoms, disapointing  children ,work or spouses , lack  of  
time for  relationships..... and we all can get a bit grouchy or emotional.

   It is hard to remmeber but mom once said "Don't write anythnig on paper  
(and now the computer) that  you don't want published on the front pape of a 
newspaper----(or today U-tube!).

   Maybe you could write a real letter, explaining and  ask Forgiveness. 
You may not regain that friendshiip right away-- but perhaps it will  help 
soften thir heart over time and maybe --maybe you can have a 2nd chance. If 
not, then you did the right thing and if they don't forgive you, it was 
bound to happen over something, if not the white cow ( I must have missed 
this one) then maybe over a saddle pad.... or  --------(fill in the blank).  
Some times people just get hurt easily, cause they feel betrayed and  are 
afraid to trust....cause they dont' want to be hurt......same with 
Forgiveness...it's risky..... but worth the reward......
