[RC] fly predators - Ann Blankenship

We’ve used fly predators for years.  They do work well; however, if your horse or other livestock-owning neighbors aren’t using them too, your little predators will be spread too thin.  Also, they only work on manure-breeding flies (stable flies).  They don’t work on deer or face flies or any other flies that breed in water, etc.  Another thing, some of them winter over so each year, you will have more than the year before.  They come every month in a little box packed in shavings and all you do is toss them out into the pasture (or wherever).  They will travel quite a ways so you don’t have to worry about getting them in exactly the right place.  They’re nocturnal, so you probably won’t even see them.  Good things!!!!!!!
