[RC] FW: [RC-Digest]vaccine reaction - Shauna Jannett

"My question is has anyone had a horse that has had toxic = laminitis
and was the horse able later on go on and do endurance rides..."

Hi Teena,

My morgan had toxic laminitis due to strangles about 4 years ago it was
a horrible traumatic experience for us both. He did however manage
after an extended recovery period to return to full work. We never did
endurance together although he was nearly ready to go, he did do many
30+ mile day trips up in the mountains and returned to penning and
barrel racing. Today he is a happy and healthy fellow who is much
adored.

All the best in this very difficult and stressful time
Shauna
