Reading this conversation I think about a horse at our
barn. Her owner had made provisions for her horse. She left her money and her
house to her best friend with provision to care for her horse until the horse
died. The friend promptly went through her money and then sold the house and
moved in with a new boyfriend and told the lady who owns our barn to stick it.
She feels that she has no responsibility to her friend or the horse…who is
cared for by the boarding facility. I think it’s so sad that the money wasn’t
held for the horse’s care. How would you do this to make sure someone doesn’t
just spend the funds as they
want?
