[RC] Pulling Back, High Headed and Conformation - Lynne Tomovick

Hi Val,

My 18 year old gelding BA Dyplomat still pulls back especially if on instinct mode or uncomfortable in a situation that many times I cannot figure out. I just try to make him comfortable as much as possible and not try to force anything.

He's also high headed, short strided and I would have turned him down as an endurance prospect had I not know about "heart". IMO, the most important factor.

He's also the BEST horse I've ever ridden in endurance ... heart, a survivor and when he trusts, gives everything he's got.

"What can you do with each moment of your life, but love till you've loved it away" - singer songwriter Bob Franke
