Re: [RC] water pump question - Sisu West Ranch

My water tank has a 2" hose.  Fills a bucket faster than a home tap.

To be able to spray I purchased a 12v pump.   The standard kind that is used in all RV's and to spray chemicals from sprayers pulled by 4 wheelers.  Mounted it on a piece of plywood, with adapaters to garden hose.  Also adapters to the 2" hose.  Made a power cord long enough to reach Cig. lighter in the truck.  One Cig lighter power adapter (auto stores or Radio Shak) and I was good to go.  The whole thing was sized to fit into a plastic storage box for easy storage and carrying.

It does a nice job of washing horses and filling the LQ tank from the tank in the truck bed.
