Truer words were never said. I have a Navajo mustang who came as a treat hog, which I haven't really done much to discourage. In fact, I've contributed to the problem, but he's not rude about it, just persistant.  I had an empty gallon bag in my trailer tack compartment that I had put treats into, but given them all out over time.  Left his lead rope a little too long one day, and he reached into the tack compartment and found the bag, decided if it smelled like treats, it must be so. Before I could run over from the horse tied next to him, he had the entire bag in his mouth! Luckily, I was there in time to grab the last little corner before it disappeared, and yanked the whole bag out. Whew!
