[RC] Spine knob pad - Mike Sherrell

My horse has developed a few vertebrae in the area under the rear part of
the saddle that stick up to the point that after a day or two of long rides
the hair gets rubbed off of the one that sticks up the highest. The padding
on the underside of the saddle has no gap between the left and right
sections of it in this area the way it does in the middle and front of the
saddle. Otherwise the saddle fits pretty well. My regular thick cotton pad
creates the worst rubbing, but my Professional's
Choice roper pad doesn't completely eliminate the problem. Other than trying
to find another saddle, can anyone give me any suggestions about how to deal
with this, like maybe how to put like a doughnut of foam around it or
something?

Regards,

Michael Sherrell
