[RC] Failed flexion test - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Hi Everybody,
I looked at a 9 year old sweet mare that I thought would be great for my
family. She is calm and sweet and has done lots of dressage training. She is
14.2HH and built like a tank for that little body.
The vet says she is a bit base wide and has a minor toeing in on both fronts.
The sad thing is she failed the flexion test on both fronts with a 2 out of 5
lameness for the trot out one way and was sound on the trot back to the start.
I would like to do about 6 endurance competitions a year with some LD mixed in.
We go SLOW!!
Should I discount her totally due to the failed flexions?
Please advice.
Thanks
sheila.
