"Received from a fellow horsewoman.....
I received an email from Loomis Basin Horsemen's Assoc. that is of critical
importance. A member wormed 5 of her horses with Bimectin paste wormer. The
next day, all were ill, 2 days later, all were dead! They suspect an accidental
problem at the factory that caused the wormers to have a high overdose of
ivermectin. The lot number is 5J019. I received this email the day after I had
wormed my two pregnant mares, my two yearlings and my 2 year old with Bimectin!
Fortunately it was a different lot number. If you have any Bimectin with this
lot number, return it to the place you purchased it. I bought mine from
Jeffers."
This came in an email a couple of days ago. Micki Turney
